1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Firexcheck, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Firexcheck is a cloud-based fire extinguisher management system providing:

• Fire extinguisher inventory tracking
• Inspection scheduling and reminders
• Maintenance record management
• QR code generation and verification
• Compliance reporting
• Multi-site management

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must have authority to bind your organization
• You cannot use the Service if previously terminated

4. Account Registration

Account Creation

You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Keep your password secure
• Accept responsibility for all account activities

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality. We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized use.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Subscription Plans

• Starter: Up to 50 extinguishers, 3 users
• Professional: Up to 250 extinguishers, 10 users
• Business: Up to 1,000 extinguishers, unlimited users

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe
• Auto-renewal unless canceled
• Price changes with 30 days' notice
• No refunds except as required by law
• Service may be suspended for failed payments

Cancellation

Cancel anytime through account settings. Service continues until end of billing period. No refunds for partial months.

6. Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

• Manage fire extinguisher inventories
• Track inspections and maintenance
• Generate compliance reports
• Send authorized notifications

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Violate laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with Service operation
• Resell or sublicense the Service
• Use for competing products
• Create fraudulent accounts

7. Data and Privacy

Your Data

• You retain all rights to your uploaded data
• You grant us a license to use your data to provide the Service
• You are responsible for data accuracy and legal compliance

Our Use

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data Deletion

Upon termination:

• 30 days to export your data
• We delete data within 90 days
• Some data retained for legal compliance

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

No Professional Advice

Important: This Service is a management tool. It does not:

• Replace professional fire safety inspections
• Constitute legal or safety advice
• Guarantee regulatory compliance

You remain responsible for fire safety compliance.

You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of laws or third-party rights

We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for service interruptions.

13. Compliance

Fire Safety Regulations

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for complying with local fire safety laws, conducting proper inspections, and maintaining equipment.

Our Role: We provide tools to help manage compliance but do not guarantee it.

14. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted with updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
